If you’re hoping to take in a movie, you can forget about just going to the theater to buy tickets. The government will let you know if it’s your turn to see a movie, and of course leave a glowing review. Slipping into a comfortable pair of blue jeans is absolutely forbidden in North Korea, along with all clothing that is considered too Western. Piercings are also banned, so we suppose teenagers need to find another way to rebel in North Korea.
